Colours Launches the L Frame Series Wheelchair
Corona, California and Zurich, Switzerland (PRWeb) February 21, 2007 -- Colours N Motion announced the launch of its newest wheelchair, the L Frame Series. The L Frame Series offers the disabled community a new sleek design. With the backrest folded down and the wheels off, the frame has a compact L-shaped construction. "The L-Frame's design makes the chair ultra-lightweight and incredibly easy to put into a car and other small places", said John Box President of Colours. "The L Frame is actually composed of three wheelchairs, each of the three wheelchairs relys heavily on technology that has been developed by the innovative team at Colours".
Razorblade: this is a sleek fixed, rigid-frame custom chair. Like Colours custom-made chair, Zephyr you can develop your own design to improve the performance. At 11 pounds (5kg) without wheels, it is nearly as lightweight as the Zephyr. While Zephyr has minimal adjustability, the Razorblade allows you to adjust the center of gravity and footrest length. This will enable people to change cushions and modify the balance of the chair as desired.
Switchblade: the Switchblade is an adjustable version of the Razor Blade. You still enjoy the lightweight L-frame design that allows you to easily put the chair in your car. But Colours has included the ability to change front and rear seat height easily by adding an adjustable seating system. This is a great chair for a newly injured person who is unsure of the ultimate seating position.
Shockblade: the same as the Razorblade but includes the Independent Suspension previously found ONLY in the Colours popular suspension chair, Boing!. The Shockblade's sleek design means that it is even lighter and more transportable than Boing!
The L Frame Series has several advantages:
•
New cool looking design
•
Light L shaped frame is easier to lift and store
•
On Razorblade and Shockblade you can order Ergo Seating. The Ergo Seating is promoted through Bengt Engstrom the world renowned seating expert.
•
The Tear Drop Aerospace tubing used to attach the caster housing. By attaching the caster with the Aero tubing we reduce the weight along with the requirements for adjustment over time.
